Cliff Miras, CPA is a Co-Founder & Managing Partner of Cornerstone Search Group.
Cliff started his career in the Executive Search & Recruitment industry in 1983, and co-founded Cornerstone Search Group in 2000. Cliff has helped numerous Pharmaceutical | Biotechnology companies of all sizes (i.e. from start-ups to several of the Top 10 Global Industry Leaders) find, attract, hire and retain experienced professionals across multiple business and functional areas (e.g. Discovery, Clinical R&D, Medical Affairs and Commercial/Marketing).
His prior experience includes working as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) for a Fortune 500 company (Florida Progress Corporation), a leading management consulting firm (Booz | Allen | Hamilton), and a leading Certified Public Accounting firm (Wiss & Company).
He is an active member of several national and international executive search and Pharmaceutical | Biotechnology industry associations including:
- Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP): President of the NJ Chapter of ACRP
- Drug Information Association (DIA)
- Regulatory Affairs Professionals Society (RAPS)
- Pinnacle Society: Board Member (recruiting industry's consortium of top professional recruiters)
- International Retained Search Association (IRSA): Charter Member
- International Association for Corporate & Professional Recruitment (IACPR)
- American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and New Jersey Society of CPAs
Cliff attended Montclair State University where he earned a BA degree in Economics and a BS degree in Business Administration.
Steven Raz, CPA is a Co-Founder & Managing Partner of Cornerstone Search Group.
Steven started his career in the Executive Search & Recruitment industry in 1997, and co-founded Cornerstone Search Group in 2000.
His prior experience includes working as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) for a "Big 4" Professional Service Firm (KPMG).
He is an active member of IRSA (International Retained Search Association).
Steven graduated from the Pennsylvania State University with a degree in Accounting.
Corey Ackerman, JD is a Sr. Partner with Cornerstone Search Group.
Corey joined Cornerstone Search Group in 2001.
His prior experience includes co-founding and managing several retail/wholesale enterprises.
Corey earned dual undergraduate degrees in both Economics and International Relations from Tufts University. He earned his law degree with a focus on labor law from Hofstra University School of Law and he is a Member of the New Jersey Bar Association. Corey is a former Secretary/Treasurer of the New Jersey Chapter of the ACRP (Association of Clinical Research Professionals).
Thomas J. Fascia is a Director with Cornerstone Search Group.
Tom joined Cornerstone Search Group in 2004.
His prior experience includes working for Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City where he managed multi-layered functional relationships across hospital personnel/human resources.
Tom is an active member of the Big Brothers Big Sisters Organization and has been volunteering his time to underserved communities for over 10 years.
Tom holds a BS degree in Health Policy and Management, as well as Minors in Public Service and Business, from Providence College.
