Senior Medical Director, Life-cycle Development, MD or PhD:
Attractive Mid-Sized Pharma, Northern NJ, $250k+
Our client is a leading Mid-sized Global Pharmaceutical Company that is very stable and continuing to grow. They are currently looking for a seasoned Industry Physician to come in and manage overall life-cycle plans within Clinical Development (Phases I, II, III) across multiple therapeutic areas, most notably cardiovascular. This is a new position. You will take full ownership of all scientific/medical and operational responsibilities. Our client is located in scenic Northern NJ and will consider relocation for qualified candidates. Total compensation is very competitive and benefits are very strong.

Company Description: Our client is a mid-sized to larger pharmaceutical company with a reputation as a company that is stable and loyal to their people. They have a strong pipeline across multiple therapeutic areas and an attractive slate of marketed products.
Location: Paramus, NJ area.
Relocation: Full relocation is provided.

Challenges, Expectations and Deliverables:
- Lead and implement the overall project success and deliverables throughout a compound’s life cycle.
- You will be responsible for leading a broad, global cross functional team and ensuring development of overall global strategy and implementation of the development strategy from candidate selection through registration and into continued life cycle management.
- Develop overall global project strategy and life cycle plans.
- Implement product plans from candidate selection through approval and further life cycle plans.
- Provide overall leadership to cross functional global development teams.
- Chair sub-teams as appropriate and establish overall project goals.
- Ensure development and implementation of regulatory submissions and other interactions.
- Interact with Senior Management.
- Lead talent management and development within the overall project team.
Requirements:
- A MD or PhD is required. MD preferred.
- 5-10 years pharmaceutical experience focused in clinical/life-cycle development.
- Particular Therapeutic Area experience is not required, however, experience within cardiovascular is preferred.
- Must be able to lead on both a medical/scientific level as well as through direct reports/people management.
