Summary: Our client is a well-respected and rapidly growing true biotechnology company which has an exciting drug pipeline focused on innovative biologic therapies. Position: Senior Medical Director, Pain/Inflammation

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the VP of Clinical Development to maximize the effectiveness and scientific integrity of Phase III Pain/Inflammation program(s).
- Serve as the Medical Lead for clinical teams and interact with key operational staff.
- Develop and implement final study protocols.
- Oversee the production of medical and scientific portions of clinical research protocols.
- Design and oversee the completion of clinical trials.
- Act as medical safety monitor for studies.
- Organize clinical advisory boards, steering committees and data safety monitoring boards.
- Directly develop or guide development of scientific/medical portions of clinical study reports and safety reports to assure production of high quality documents.
Assist in production of high quality publications.
Requirements:
- MD degree is required.
- Experience in Pain Management, CNS, and/or Inflammation is greatly preferred.
- Board Certification is desired.
- 5-10 years of Pharmaceutical Industry experience.
