Sr. Manager/Assistant Director, Clinical Operations:
Innovative and Growing Pharma Company, New York
 
Summary: Our client is a unique and innovative biotech company that has recently been compared to some of the most successful biotech companies in the industry. They offer the best of both worlds (stability, while also allowing for substantial visibility/growth potential). In this role you will serve as a critical member within their Clinical Operations group in organizing and leading studies. You will lead/oversee clinical operations staff across CRO management, protocol development, etc. Compensation/Benefits are competitive and relocation assistance can also be offered.   
 
Location: Piermont, NY area

Compensation: Base compensation is competitive and will range depending on your experience. This will also include a double-digit bonus and top-tier benefits including: stock options, 401k match, relocation (if needed), etc.

Responsibilities:
  • In a nutshell, you will lead and manage all activities related to the conduct of clinical operations projects in order to meet deliverables and program objectives. This could include multiple studies and possibly different indications.  
  • Identify and proactively implement clinical operations risk management strategy.
    Develop work plans, establish clinical research objectives, assign tasks, etc.
  • Leadership/supervision of Clinical Operations staff.
  • Management of timelines/resources in overseeing assigned clinical research studies and facilitate decision making in order to adhere to timelines.
  • Provide guidance to Clinical Operations team by establishing clinical research goals that are aligned with established policies and standards for the department and organization.
  • Interface with senior management to report on project and program milestones and to present project needs.
  • Help to write reports: FDA Annual reports, Investigator Brochure and updates, Clinical Study report, Protocols, and Informed Consent forms.
 
Requirements:
  • BS/BA is required, an advanced degree is desired.
  • 7-10 years of clinical research experience with at least 5 years of experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry.
  • People management experience is desired.
